The onslaught of anti-trans legislation is so depressing that if it wasn't so important I would have to stop reading about it. Thank you for this important work. I am the grandfather of a trans girl and our family would do anything to protect her, but I fear for those who do not have a substantial support system. Labor on.

I just submitted my testimony to this, along with my company name , I am willing to go to the mat for people on this one , it's pretty colorful I am not going to show respect to those who will just ignore it anyway, I stand by every word here is a part of it

With respect to your legislation referring to the Use of pronouns or other words to describe a Person’s Gender and forced compliance by employers

First, it’s unconstitutional, secondly, it’s a violation of EEOC policy, you do know what the EEOC means don’t you “US equal. Employment Opportunity Commission” let me state the provision for. You

“The law forbids sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination when it comes to any aspect of employment, including hiring, firing, pay, job assignments, promotions, layoff, training, fringe benefits, and any other term or condition of employment” , the Supreme Court agreed with this

On June 15, 2020, the Court ruled in a 6–3 decision covering all three cases that discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity is necessarily also discrimination "because of sex" as prohibited by Title VII.

As to point 2 references to Deoxyribonucleic acid

I am sure you are adding that so you don’t sound like the science illiterate morons you are.

Yes, I want it in the public record that I called the sponsors of this bill morons, science illiterate bigoted morons and make sure you get my Name and company name right because as an independent contractor I will never ever take a contract position in your state

Further anyone not paid on a W2 can tell you to take a hike hopefully it won’t be on some multi-million-dollar contract with a high price tag and tight deadline.

I’m sure you didn’t mean to reference DNA in that context because DNA is a polymer composed of two polynucleotide chains that coil around each other to form a double helix. The polymer carries genetic instructions for the development, functioning, growth and reproduction of all known organisms

There a 3.8 billion genetic letters that’s billion with a “b” as in the billions wasted on a stupid culture war voters showed no interest in the last election

Of these only a small percentage make up the X and Y chromosomes which I am sure you are actually referring to although your terminology is vague, probably deliberately

I doubt you would understand this but here is a long passage from a book I am working on …

What will they do with people who have genetic mosaicism, aka cells with both genders. Yup that’s another condition not widely known.

FYI

Mosaicism has been reported in as high as 70 and 90% of cleavage- and blastocyst-stage embryos derived from IVF, respectively.

And:

In recent years, DCEG scientists have made surprising observations that a substantial number of adults—individuals who did not have cancer at the time their DNA was scanned—have large structural chromosomal abnormalities, known as mosaicism. In addition, they found that the number of abnormalities an individual may carry appear to increase as they age. Some proportion may be related to environmental exposures, including smoking.

These bills and laws are especially terrifying given the terrible state of the Supreme Court.

WE NEED TO PROTEST.

This is incredibly evil and stupid, and is a direct attack on our community. Further, as Erin stated, it is compelled speach which is and of itself unconstitutional.

What would they intend to do (if they knew what they were talking about)? Require kindergartners to have a karyotype determination before entering school? Who's going to tell them about dads providing misplaced SRY genes or androgen insensitivity conditions?

and they wonder why trans people have such a high rate of suicide.

Not only is this ignorant , unconstitutional so unlikely to pass but if it did it could incite employee revolt against employers , they never think of unexpected consequences to companies when they introduce these bills , who wants to work for a company like that also it would violate EEOC regulations
